All Kinds of News for May 05, 2021
Solstice East, a residential treatment center for female and transgender students ages 14-17, is excited to announce that Danielle Andrews, MA, LCMHC, CFTP will step into the role of Executive Director and Caitlin Crolley, MSW, LCSW will become the program’s Associate Clinical Director. The team is sad to say goodbye to Rick Pollard but are excited for his new opportunity and wish him tremendous success in his new role.
Prior to Solstice East, Danielle Andrews began her career in the business sector primarily in HR, values-based systemic change, and leadership development. Danielle switched careers to pursue a deeper passion to help individuals and families heal from trauma, grief and loss, addiction, and attachment wounds. After working as a wilderness therapist, she began helping families in aftercare reconnect and maintain stability in the home, while also engaging home supports for continued well-being.
Danielle joined Solstice East in 2015 as an Aftercare Specialist. In consultation with industry experts, she created the program’s comprehensive aftercare program from the ground up and helped families prepare for home from the day of their teen's admittance. She later began working as the Director of Transitional Services serving both Solstice East and its transitional program, Journey Home East. In August of 2020, Danielle accepted the position as Solstice East’s Clinical Director. She has shown tremendous dedication in her roles guiding families toward the best next steps for their child.
“I'm thrilled to step into a role aligned with my deepest passions for driving creative, collaborative change and helping adolescents, families, and our staff defeat the obstacles standing in the way of growth, well-being, and deep healing from trauma,” Danielle said. “It's time to level up and build upon an incredible relationship-based foundation!”
Caitlin Crolley is an incredible leader who will continue to guide the clinical approach at Solstice East as she steps into the Associate Clinical Director role. Her experience with crisis management, trauma work, and various therapeutic modalities make her a natural fit for the position. The team at Solstice East is thrilled to see Danielle and Caitlin take on these new roles.
