Divided Sky Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit retreat in Ludlow, Vermont, founded by Trey Anastasio and staffed primarily by individuals in recovery.
This unique non-clinical residential recovery program serves adults aged 20 and older who are medically stable and actively motivated to address drug or alcohol addiction. It is specifically tailored for individuals who have recently completed medical detox or formal rehab, those who do not require medical intervention but want a structured path to sobriety, or individuals looking to reset after a relapse.
🌲Grounded in empathy and mutual respect, the peaceful retreat emphasizes community, creativity, and self-discovery, with a compassionate staff made up primarily of people in recovery.
🌲Guided by the central mantra, "Hope brings people to recovery; joy makes them want to stay."
🌲Combines 12-Step immersion, emotional sobriety, Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement (M.O.R.E.), life skills, music, and outdoor activities like exercise and daily nature walks.
30-Day Stay: An immersive foundation for long-term sobriety that establishes daily routines, fosters peer connection, encourages creative outlets, and builds a personalized aftercare plan.
1-Week "Recovery Recharge": A targeted short-term reset focused on deepening emotional sobriety, mindfulness practices, and 12-Step integration.
How much does Divided Sky cost? Stays cost $7,500 for the standard 30-day residential program and $1,875 for a 1-week "Recovery Recharge" option, with partial scholarships available to ensure financial barriers do not prevent individuals from getting help.
Because Divided Sky is not a clinical treatment program, it is voluntarily certified for sober living facilities through the Vermont Alliance for Recovery Residences (VARR). For more information, contact admissions.
