About Us & Level of Care
Free Spirit Experience is an integrative experiential and therapeutic transition program based in Israel (with immersive international expeditions across the Mediterranean, including Cyprus and Italy). Operating at a supported transitional/residential community level of care, the program serves as a vital bridge for young people transitioning from clinical placements, wilderness programs, or struggling to launch into independent adulthood. Rather than an isolated clinical setting, growth takes place within a vibrant, supportive kibbutz community framework that emphasizes self-reliance, accountability, and sustainable life skills.

* Multidisciplinary Team: Licensed clinical social workers, individual psychotherapists, executive functioning mentors, and wilderness guides.
* Core Modalities: Individual psychotherapy, process-oriented group therapy, family systems coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and CBT-informed relational work.
* Creative & Somatic Modalities: Nature-based therapy, expressive arts, movement, sailing, and eco-initiatives.
* Challenge by Choice: Growth is driven by internal motivation and autonomy rather than punitive/reward-based compliance systems.
Learning Styles & Practical Skill Building
* Experiential & Hands-On: Ideal for kinesthetic, visual, and practical learners who struggle in rigid traditional classroom settings.
* Executive Functioning in Action: Direct coaching in real time—budgeting, culinary and nutrition skills, digital wellness, public transit, and scheduling.
* Vocational & Academic Bridging: Supported internships in the Israeli market, community volunteer placements, and college prep mentoring.
