Lumen is a transitional living community designed to support neurodiverse young adults ages 18–30 in Gainesville, Georgia.

At Lumen, we offer a holistic program that supports young adults as they take meaningful steps toward independence. Each aspect of our approach is thoughtfully crafted to foster growth in a structured, encouraging environment where individuals can build practical life skills, form positive relationships, and pursue their interests. As a transitional living community, Lumen provides in vivo coaching grounded in mental health, education, and real-world experience. In addition to offering individualized academic support, therapeutic resources, and a focus on personal development, our team is dedicated to helping each participant grow with confidence.

🌱 🛤️ Are you nervous that your young adult might not be ready for a larger community without scaffolding?

Lumen also has the "Pathways Program," a boutique track limited to 8 participants that combines 1:1 coaching, increased structure, and deep community connection. The Pathways program's pace is built around mastery, not milestones.

If your young adult is bright and capable but stuck, anxious in new situations, struggling socially, or never quite finding their footing, call Lumen's admissions team to learn more.

For more information about housing, how long the programming is, and what the average length of stay is, please contact admissions at (828) 767-5509.
