In 2023, Muir Wood received an investment from the private equity firm Avesi Partners. Muir Wood treats teenagers (12–17) who are dealing with a range of mental health issues, substance use, or co-occurring (dual diagnosis). The levels of care offered are residential treatment (30+ days) to Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP). Family therapy is part of their personalized treatment that their clients are enrolled in.
