Videogame addiction treatment usually occurs with other mental health conditions. reSTART provides a supportive, structured and safe home environment for youth (13-18) and adults (18-30) to live, learn and explore life, examine their relationship with digital media use (Internet, videogames, screens, and other devices) and better understand how their device use impacts mental and emotional health, and their overall well-being.

reSTART has three levels of care: Residential Treatment , Partial Hospital Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) care with specialized tracks for digital dependence, gaming, and screen overuse.

At reSTART, we understand that digital use challenges can range from simple overuse to more serious concerns like Internet gaming addiction. Many of the young people we support are also managing depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, or other co-occurring issues that make it harder to thrive at school, at home, and in their relationships.

The reSTART community is designed to foster health, wellness, and genuine connection—because tech struggles rarely happen in isolation. Most teens and young adults who come to reSTART are also working through underlying mental health concerns, whether it’s anxiety, depression, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or PTSD. Many seek support for video game addiction, Internet gaming disorder, or the impact excessive social media use is having on their lives.
