Newport Healthcare is a leading provider of evidence-based behavioral healthcare for children ages 7–11, teens ages 12–18, and young adults ages 18–35. With locations nationwide, we offer the highest-quality care for young people and families.

Newport has treatment centers in Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, in addition to West Coast and Midwest locations. View all locations: https://www.newporthealthcare.com/locations/

Full Continuum of Care: Newport offers residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Through our PrairieCare division in Minnesota, we offer a full continuum of outpatient care for all ages and an inpatient psychatric hospital for ages 35 and younger.

Insurance and Payment: 99% of Newport clients use insurance to cover the cost of care. If you don’t see your insurance company in the list below, contact us to find out if we can work with them.

Our Clinical Approach: Our whole-person approach to treatment includes:

  • Individualized treatment plans for each client, informed by in-depth assessments

  • Multidisciplinary treatment that combines psychiatric care and medication management, individual and family therapy, experiential therapies, academic and life-skills support

  • Family-focused approach, including family therapy, parent/guardian support, and ongoing family involvement

  • Evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT-Informed Skills, EMDR, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and more

  • Experiential therapy, such as art, music, yoga, movement, adventure therapy, Mixed Martial Arts, and more (depending on location)

Our Outcomes: Results from our programs across the country show that teen and young adults in our care experienced improvements in depression and anxiety symptoms, with symptoms reducing from severe to mild in just a few weeks of treatment. Follow- up surveys show that our alumni generally maintain these improvements long after treatment ends.

Contact Us Today to Get Started: Whether you’re seeking care for yourself, a loved one, a patient, or someone else, our Admissions experts will guide you each step of the way, from recommending care options to verifying insurance to supporting a smooth referral and admissions process.
