Pure Life, located in Costa Rica's Southern Pacific zone, offers a mental health and wellness experience specializing in services for older adolescents, young adults, and families. We are a young adult and therapeutic adolescent Gap semester. Our approach integrates adventure activities, cultural immersion, and nature connection to promote healing, personal growth, and lasting positive change.

πŸŒπŸ§πŸŒŠπŸ§ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡·πŸ«Ά We support young people facing various challenges, including and not limited to:
🌱 Depression
🌱 Anxiety
🌱 Low motivation and self-esteem
🌱 ADHD
🌱 OCD
🌱 Trauma
🌱 Executive functioning issues
🌱 Substance and technology abuse/misuse
🌱 High-functioning autism spectrum disorder (Level 1) ~ neurodivergent

Beyond mental health and wellness, many young people seek a gap semester. While most gap year programs offer experiential learning and comfort zone challenges, they often lack the therapeutic component crucial for reflection and preparation for future development. Many students need therapeutic guidance, practice with executive functioning skills, and assistance in evolving the parental role and relationship moving into young adulthood.

Pure Life uniquely combines a traditional gap year experience with a deliberate focus on the therapeutic needs of young adults and adolescents. Our adventures are designed to intentionally cultivate grit and resilience, empowering students to overcome barriers to success. πŸ“ž Call or visit our website to learn more about upcoming start dates and individualized program options.
