PIVOTPoint Announces Two New Programs

PIVOTPoint, a therapeutic adventure provider, announces two new programs to help those in recovery and those historically considered to be “at risk.” Both programs focus on dynamic, experience-based learning for youth and adults, anchored in the transformative power of the outdoors.
The first program, “Experiential Apprenticeship Program,” focuses on the individual, offering a mix of goal setting and accountability, communication, and self-regulation skills combined with high-end, custom furniture job-training. The second, “Your Program,” delivers clinical coaching support to parents and the entire family system while those directly enrolled in the outpatient program work on individualized service plans and co-created goals. PIVOTPoint partners with local, vetted supportive housing organizations in the southeast region, so its programs can enroll individuals with the added assurance of stable housing services.
One mother of a recent graduate said, “What an amazing gift PIVOTPoint is giving to these kids. I have seen my son blossoming this past month in ways I have not seen in the past. It’s a huge difference we are seeing in him.”
The activities developed for these programs are pulled from a 200-page curriculum of experiential activities PIVOTPoint is creating, the result of a research project conducted with the support of Vancouver Island University students through a virtual internship multi-year project.
