A primary care treatment episode is 60 days in duration. Additionally, 15-30 day transitional placements are available for clients coming to Life of Purpose from other primary care facilities. Following the successful completion of a primary or transitional care episode, clients enter 90 days of intensive outpatient services. Following the successful completion of outpatient services, clients enter 90 days to 180 days of academically-focused aftercare. In the event a client has received extensive primary care services prior to Life of Purpose, he or she may enter directly either into intensive outpatient or academically-focused aftercare based on recommendation from a professional associated with their case in conjunction with the duration of time the client has been abstinent. Operating concurrent with intensive outpatient and academically-focused aftercare services, 180 days of transitional housing and recovery dorms are available. We prepare clients for GED, SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, and MCAT exams. We manage the college admission process for undergraduate and graduate programs. Alumni support and integration to Collegiate Recovery Community or Program at university or college. Psychiatric Care: One to two sessions per week, depending on complexity of co-occurring mental health concerns, by a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a psychiatrist. Two facilities: Located on the Florida Atlantic University campus and the University of North Texas. We accept most major insurance policies.

Mission Statement
Academically focused substance use disorder treatment on university campuses for teens and young adults 17 to 29. Life of Purpose Treatment is the only primary care academically focused substance use disorder treatment facility located on college campuses across the United States. With facilities at the University of North Texas and Florida Atlantic University, the program was specifically designed for emerging adults whose education has been disrupted by substance misuse. As clients progress through our program, Life of Purpose takes a balanced approach of reintegrating clients into an academic setting while concurrently assisting them in achieving part-time employment. Taking this approach towards the ongoing growth and development of our clients fosters both academic success and work ethic which in turn promote self-esteem, self-worth, productivity and success in life.
