Aerie Healthcare’s day treatment programs, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services, are tailored to help adolescents and their families while remaining within the support of their homes and communities.

🌲 The Aerie PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP) operates from Monday to Friday, with a total of 25 hours each week, ensuring a thorough and consistent approach to mental health care. The program mandates a minimum of 15 hours of direct clinical engagement per week, including at least one individual therapy session and biweekly family therapy. All participants undergo a psychiatric intake assessment upon admission, followed by weekly medication management sessions. This structured and holistic approach provides a higher level of support compared to traditional individual therapy sessions and is particularly suitable for candidates who do not require inpatient or residential placement.

🌲The Aerie INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP) offers a flexible mental health treatment solution for adolescents, providing therapeutic support without disrupting their school commitments. Typically running from Monday to Friday, 3 – 6 pm, and encompassing all clinical sessions, the weekly schedule includes individual sessions, medication management, and bi-weekly family sessions. If clinically appropriate, IOP may be reduced to three (3) days a week.

Operating in the afternoon and evening allows participants to maintain their daily activities while receiving targeted clinical interventions and support. The IOP level of care bridges the gap between occasional outpatient therapy and the higher level of care provided by PHP, addressing the specific needs of adolescents grappling with mental health challenges.

🌲🌲🌲For more information about either level of care at Aerie’s Concord, NH location — call admissions 603-451-2371
