AIM House empowers young adults towards health, independence, and personal responsibility.
In the first phase, we help participants define intentions for growth. Each participant creates a realistic action plan to achieve these goals. Our approach is highly individualized. “AIM plans” incorporate therapeutic and/or recovery goals, as well as strategies for mastering life skills and executive functioning. We have two houses in an exciting, real-world setting.
In the later phases of AIM House, participants practice more and more independence, eventually moving into community housing and/or independent living. At any stage, however, participants and their families can utilize clinical/mentoring services, take part in activities, and receive vocational/academic advising.
AIM House is located in Boulder, Colorado. Not only is Boulder a college town with a vibrant young-adult recovery community, but it is also known for healthy lifestyles and wellness. Participants adopt a holistic approach to their mental and physical health. Between the local options for higher education and Madelife, our sister community for creative exploration, Boulder is the perfect place for a young person to start fresh!
** AIM House clinical services can be billed through insurance. Please contact our admissions team to run a verification of benefits **
