Aspen Network, located in Orinda, CA, is an inclusive program for 18 – 35 year-olds who have retreated from their worlds. It was established as a space for people without a community. Our clients are either neurotypical with psychological problems or neurodiverse with similar social issues. Aspen Network is a safe space for young adults stuck at home to begin to discover their authentic best selves.

Our clients have high expectations for themselves, and unexpected failure leads to feelings of incompetence, anxiety, and depression. We treat neurotypical people with fragilities as well as those who are neurodiverse; we find the combination of diagnoses to be very helpful, combining different skillsets, breaking barriers, and making a community.

Our clients’ disabilities are often invisible and that characteristic leads them to be brutally criticized rather than assisted.

Individuals with social anxiety, mood differences, learning disorders, or trauma history that prevent them from possessing the self-esteem required to even consider their right to accommodations.

For people who don’t need a treatment center, who have untapped potential. We aren’t about “fixing things,” we are for those who want to learn how to make their lives work. Aspen is a program for people who don’t want a program. They don’t have behavioral issues, they aren’t acting out, and they need to feel accepted just how they are. To quote a former client, “Aspen Network is like ‘Be Yourself 101’!”
