Calo is a unique organization comprised of an extraordinary family of programs, all dedicated to healing the effects of early childhood trauma. Calo Programs has developed a leading network of clinical and therapeutic programs that offer a comprehensive set of services that run the span of acuities, ages and services; all focused on cutting edge, trauma-based interventions. All Calo Programs implement a unique and truly relational treatment model based on the science of neurobiology and evidence-based attachment and trauma treatment research that aids in healing reactive attachment disorder.
OUR THREE PROGRAMS
* Calo Teen Girls & Calo Teen Boys (Missouri) was created with the need for specialty care in mind and with almost a decade of outcomes, Calo Teens is the first treatment center focused on adoptive families. The Teen programs are separate single gender programs. It is not a coed campus. Serves students ages 14-18.
* Calo Preteens (Missouri) is a small and exclusive program offering an idyllic therapeutic setting for adopted preteens to experience connection and acceptance. The Preteen programs are separate single gender programs. It is not a coed campus. Serves students ages 9-14.
* Calo Transition Homes (Missouri) are gender specific community based homes where students focus on developing real world life skills and reintegration into the community. Serves students ages 17-20.
