Cherokee Creek Boys School (CCBS) is an academically-accredited, state-licensed therapeutic boarding school for boys, ages 10-15. Our students have a “softer profile” with challenges including, but not limited to: ADD/ADHD; depression; anxiety; oppositional behavior; learning style differences; high functioning Autism; academic frustration/failure; issues related to divorce, adoption, abandonment, technoology use, trauma and grief and loss.

Our small enrollment (42 students), home-like lodge in the woods and warm, nurturing staff make CCBS the “small school with a big heart,” a place where boys can be boys.

Our innovative P.A.T.H. curriculum leads students on a journey of self-discovery. Through a combination of integrated Personal Enrichment opportunities, Academics, Therapy, and Health and Recreation activities- students gain insight, make friends, heal relationships, face challenges and regain hope and confidence.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: Hands-On Integrated Academics, Morning PE Class, Individual, Group, Family Therapy, Equine Therapy & Neurotherapy, Michael Gurian Model School (NY Times Best Selling Author), Relational Community Model, Character Development Curriculum, Family Programming, Transition Services After Graduation

THE CCBS DIFFERENCE:
