DRAGONFLY TRANSITIONS is a licensed and accredited co-ed young adult transition program. Students learn life skills and work to transition into a healthy young adult life with independence, autonomy, integrity, and sustainability. Dragonfly offers opportunity for real world experience while providing a stable, supportive, educational environment.
COMMUNITY • Dragonfly offers three distinct locations in Southern Oregon: Klamath Falls, Ashland, and The Homestead. There are a variety of housing options. Students integrate into the communities of Klamath Falls and/or Ashland and volunteer, take college classes, work, and recreate. Dragonfly has a coffee shop & Deli for job skills training.
RECREATION • Weekly activities and quarterly adventures are integral to the program schedule. An annual International Trip is offered. Students access resources in the community for a wide range of recreational options • Community Service
EDUCATION • Ashland and Klamath Falls each have 4-year accredited colleges and community colleges. Dragonfly supports high school completion or the GED.
CLINICAL • Therapists are in the milieu and accessible. Students have individual, group and family therapy.
MEDICAL • Psychiatric, medical services, and medication management are all available.
STUDENT PROFILE • We work with a complex and diverse population, including cultural, religious, gender identity (Transgender, Gender Expansive), sexual orientation, and family systems. Students are typically ages 18-26, motivated to make a change and are often challenged by anxiety and depression.
