***PROGRAM CLOSED AUGUST 2023*** “Intermountain Residential has gone through challenging times over its 114-year history, yet through it all, the program has consistently found a way to maintain services for the precious kids and families that we serve. Once again, despite being on the path to closure a few months ago, Intermountain Residential has persevered and is working to stabilize and sustain the program to continue to serve the kids that are still in our care. The desire to grow our program back is stronger than ever. The dedication and heart that our staff have for this work is simply beautiful and our residential leadership team is proud of the grit that has been demonstrated to make it through an exceedingly difficult time. We are still here and have wonderful people that are currently making a difference in the lives of struggling kids every day. We are ready to add more talented people to our team. Now is the time to look toward the future with the hope that we have always had for heartfelt care of kids and families working towards their long-term wellbeing. Our community has shown so much support for our program and we have deep gratitude for you all.”

————————- Meegan Bryce, Intermountain Residential Executive Director

After 17+ years of working at Intermountain Residential, I have now moved on from Intermountain and taken my career down a different path. Even though I have left Intermountain, the relationships that I have made with the kids, staff, families, and referrals sources remain close to my heart, and I am grateful that I was asked to reach out one last time on behalf of Intermountain Residential and be the one to pass on Meegan’s message to you all. I am grateful for everything I have learned and all the relationships I have made since being at Intermountain. I have enjoyed working with all of you and hope to stay in touch.

————————- With gratitude, Jill Richards, former Admissions and Outreach Director

Our 112-year-old non-profit program offers an environment in which care and nurture are difficult to resist. We have over 35 years’ experience using the Developmental Relational approach. By recognizing the developmental needs underlying the maladaptive behaviors and meeting those needs through intentional relationships, treatment provides a fully orchestrated approach in which every aspect of the child’s life presents an opportunity for growth and change. We embrace the whole family knowing that family participation is critical to the success of the child and family system.
