Oxbow Academy is a specialized residential treatment center for boys (ages 10-17) who have problematic or compulsive sexual behaviors, which may include child or sibling sexual abuse, pornography addiction, chronic masturbation, inappropriate touching, sexual reactivity, and other problematic sexual behaviors. Our approach is distinctive in its capacity to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of boys in three separate communities:
• Pre-teens & young teenage boys, ages 10 – 13
• ASD & Neurodiverse boys, ages 14-17
• Neurotypical boys, ages 14-17.

Our extensive evaluation and treatment planning process provides your family with a comprehensive and individualized sexual addiction recovery plan for your teenage son. As a result, the recommendations will be more reliable. The process takes approximately 90 days.

Oxbow’s sex-specific treatment approach is uniquely tailored for adolescents, focusing on a holistic and strength-based methodology. Our clinicians focus on addressing the root causes that preceded students’ problematic sexual behaviors. All of Oxbow’s therapists are CSAT-certified or trained. Many are also certified or trained in additional modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and more. This enables Oxbow to provide trauma-informed treatment that is personalized to the specific needs of each student.
