Students live in a jungle mansion with a group of 12 students, a therapist, and 2 program instructors while taking on cultural immersion, volunteer service learning, and adventure excursions in a sober and supported wellness environment.
Our therapist is on site 24/7 living with the students and will deliver in the moment therapeutic coaching, daily wellness practices, wellness skills workshops, and a psycoeducational core curriculum.
This program is highly focused on social learning: making deep meaningful friendships and learning to contribute and belong to a community. Students live together in a house learning to be good roommates and develop the life skills to live independently while taking on the adventure of a lifetime.
* Rooted Life Adventures does not provide any clinical services, instead focuses on therapeutic coaching in a wellness environment and coordinates virtual visits with the at home clinician of your choice.
Rooted Life Adventures also offers 10-week programs for 18-24 year old young adults of all genders in New Zealand, Costa Rica, and Hawaii during the Spring and Fall seasons. Please see website for the 18-24 year old young adult program in New Zealand from September 14- November 22, 2023!
