TechieForLife (TFL) is an all gender, young adult (age 18-30,) residential and licensed vocational school. Neurodivergent students, including those diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) who need a safe, social and emotional support environment where they can gain important life skills and marketable technology training while living with roommates in houses with 24 hour on-site support. TFL provides a therapeutically sound, evidence based wrap-around program. Partnering closely with the private sector, TFL places students into apprenticeships, internships and jobs for quality living and success.

TechieForLife™ program offers:
TFL Vocational track with industry relevant certifications and customized pace (approx. 6-18 months) in coding, software design, web development or graphic design

TFL College track with comprehensive support for students to pursue or complete a college degree or receive support after a degree

TFL Life skills development including; daily living skills (shopping, budgeting, hygiene, etc.), social success (communication, dating, nuance, etc.), physical wellness (exercise, diet, image, etc.), emotional health (insight, balance, empathy, etc.)

TFL Career readiness, mentoring and careers start with occupational support ongoing for the student and the business

TFL Unique Gap Year experience: The program provides experiential learning opportunities while gradually transitioning students into educational and career opportunities. TFL’s mentors trained in NDM Neuro-Developmental Mentoring™, support a positive student culture where connection and growth occur. During the program, students can expand their life skills, obtain work opportunities, develop deeper relationships, and explore different hobbies and interests.
