Uinta Academy

Uinta Academy is a residential treatment center serving youth and young adults assigned female at birth ages 12–20 who struggle with attachment issues, mood disorders, maintaining interpersonal relationships, and/or healing after trauma. Uinta’s equine-assisted psychotherapy, trauma-informed therapy, research-based therapeutic milieu, and accredited academic program promote long-lasting change.

At Uinta Academy, we firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their challenges and struggles, can unlock extraordinary strengths and achieve their true potential. To find their true potential, teens and young adults must strategize and take action while nurturing an unwavering belief in themselves. They must learn to embrace their unique identities through self-discovery and recognizing their self-worth.

We know the journey to self-belief is a profoundly personal one. That’s why we’ve created a supportive environment where teens and young adults can explore their inner selves, discover their passions, and cultivate a sense of purpose. By fostering a space that values individuality, we empower each person to embrace their authentic self and recognize the value they bring to the world.

Self-belief is the cornerstone of personal growth and achievement. When individuals begin believing in themselves, they unlock resilience, determination, and confidence. At Uinta Academy, we aim to guide students on this transformative journey, helping each teen and young adult identify their inner strengths and realize their vast potential.

Each person is unique, with their own set of talents, dreams, and aspirations. Through personalized care and attention, Uinta Academy encourages students to explore their interests and passions and to set goals that align with who they are. By providing a nurturing and inclusive environment, we empower students to take ownership of their lives and embrace the belief that they, too, are capable of greatness.

Uinta Academy celebrates the triumphs and milestones along each journey of self-discovery. We witness the moments when doubts are replaced by unwavering self-assurance, and insecurities are transformed into steadfast self-love. We stand alongside these incredible teens and young adults as they realize their worth, unlocking the door to a future filled with endless possibilities.

We believe in every person’s unique power and potential. At Unita Academy, we guide young people on a transformative voyage of self-discovery, guiding each individual toward a life of purpose, confidence, and an unshakable belief in themself.
