Learning Disability-Oriented Programs

Learning Disability-oriented programs provide tremendous variability to the population of young adults who can benefit.  All programs assist with “executive functioning” requirements (such as time organization and time management).  Some programs focus almost entirely on life skills and vocational training (developing as much self-sufficiency as possible), while others include formal education and social support, with the opposite side of the spectrum including college coursework support, financial oversight, etc. There is a wide spectrum of options and level of emotional, community, and personal support as well as the focus of the program will vary widely.
