JOB DESCRIPTION: Recovery Lead Therapist at Telos
REPORTS TO: Clinical Director
SALARY: $80,000-90,000 annually
TIME COMMITMENT: 40 Hours
JOB STATUS: Exempt
FTE: 1.0
STATUS: At-Will Employee

The mental health therapist is a full-time state licensed therapist (LMFT, LCSW, CMHC) who works with substance using male youth (ages 14-18) through therapy to improve life skills and functionality.
Requirements:
- Interest in and experience working with Substance Use Disorder
- Utah State license
- Masters level or higher
- Professional documentation and charting skills
- Experience in treating youth and young adults
- Comfortable with team approach
Preferred:
- Experience in residential treatment industry
- Working knowledge of Family Systems Theory
- Special training in working with emotional dysregulation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shape the policy, procedure, and clinical approach of a team of 8 students in need of SUD treatment
- Maintains a caseload of 7-8 students conducting individual, family, and group therapy
- Contacts parents of students on a regular basis as well as participates in student team calls
- Completes basic case management (e.g., insurance reviews, aftercare planning, etc.), program development, staff trainings, and being part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Attends student team weekly
- Participates in clinical meetings weekly
- Participates in family days
- Joins in to help with AWOL students and keeps the parents informed
- Completes special assignments as directed by their supervisor
