Red Mountain Colorado Showcases its Academic Programming

Red Mountain Colorado (RMC), a premiere mindfulness-based, community-integrated residential treatment center (CIRTC) for male-identifying and non-binary adolescents aged 14 to 17, showcases its Academic Programming that promotes our students to grow at their own pace.
Our state-of-the-art learning facility is equipped with computers, personal study areas, and a full-time teacher with extensive experience working with special populations.
Our Academic Programming is supported by the amazing Academic Team, comprised of Master’s-level Teachers, Academic Coordinator, Academic Advisor, and additional educational support staff, that provides exceptional guidance from start to finish. The students are taught in a typical classroom setting along with their peers, and with a teacher present, but are able to expand beyond the confines of the classroom with the use of Alta Independent, a digital course system. Alta allows students to take any class that fits their academic and future goals and work at a pace that is appropriate for them. Red Mountain Colorado students are able to make tremendous strides in credit recovery and advancement by utilizing their self-paced academic approach. This wonderful hybrid and customizable program allows all RMC students to succeed without taking away the importance of the social and supportive qualities of a traditional classroom.
Red Mountain Colorado was founded to help struggling teens work through behavioral and emotional challenges, empowering teens to build healthy coping skills and habits that they can use to work through the challenges they face and create a happier life.
