Solstice East Opens New Inviting Therapy Haven

In order to best serve its students and families, Solstice East is committed to consistent improvements to its campus and programming. Most recently, the campus therapist offices have been moved to the new, cozy “Cottage.” The Cottage is the first building visible when you arrive on campus, sitting on a green hillside. The building has a large wrap-around front porch and provides a perfect view of the campus millhouse, barn, and horse pastures.
Solstice East understands that improved facilities are an excellent addition to better support the therapeutic nature of the work done by our clinicians and students. Countless studies note that your physical space and environment can greatly affect your mental health, thus the excitement for therapists and students to hold individual, family, and group therapy sessions in a new welcoming space filled with natural light.
“Our goal is to provide an optimal environment for the deep healing work our students embark upon here,” says Caitlin Crolley, MSW, LCSW, Clinical Director. “The Cottage is just that and we are so excited to welcome our students into this space for therapy.”
On the inside, the Cottage has a spacious and calming layout. The therapists’ offices are each decorated in their own tranquil and cozy style with plenty of natural light. Additionally, there is a dedicated space for the treatment team and group therapy to take place in the common area of the Cottage. Three easily accessible bathrooms for staff and students make this unit a standalone center for longer therapy sessions. Therapists and students alike have expressed their love for this expansion, appreciating the radiant light and dedicated, comfortable space to engage in healing.
