Summit Achievement Launches New Website, Debuting Unique Content for Prospective Students

Summit Achievement is proud to announce the launch of a new website. The site features updated photo and video content, and pages designed specifically to speak to the needs and questions of prospective parents, students, and referral sources. The site went live in mid-October.
When thinking about a website redesign, Co-Founder Will White was determined to make sure that in addition to updated aesthetics and visual content such as photos and video, the Summit website still offered all of the information that prospective families and professional colleagues need while exploring treatment options. One gap he continually noticed in websites of therapeutic programs was content that spoke directly to the prospective student. Since Summit Achievement is unique in that it doesn’t work with transport companies (meaning all incoming students are aware of the decision of their treatment prior to enrollment), young people enrolling at Summit often have the opportunity to visit the Summit page before arriving on campus. Knowing this, Will and the rest of the Summit leadership team wanted to make sure that their new website was accessible and user-friendly not only for the parents researching programs but for the young people who will be entering treatment. “I really wanted to make sure our website reflected our relational model by being both comforting and transparent with young people and their parents, ” said Dr. White.
The “For Students” section of the Summit website features an open letter from the Summit Leadership team, honest stories and accounts from former Summit students, daily schedules, and more. There are Frequently Asked Questions that are aimed at answering the most common questions and concerns of incoming students, including “What Will I Wear?”, “Will I Sleep Outside Every Night?”, and “How Long Will I Be At Summit?”
Summit encourages all to check out their new website. Not only is the “For Students” section robust and informative, but there is also a thorough section for parents, updated team information, and new photo and video content including breathtaking drone-footage of the stunning fall foliage around Summit’s campus.
About Summit Achievement
Summit Achievement is, and always has been, guided by positive reinforcement and the power of choice. Our outcome-focused program employs effective therapeutic and educational principles. Through the process of engaging therapy, classroom academics, and exciting wilderness expeditions, students experience the therapeutic benefits of outdoor adventure-based activities while learning to manage the demands of a more traditional environment. As an intentionally small, owner-operated wilderness therapy program, we serve adolescent boys and girls, ages 13-20, from around the world.
