SYMMETRY Neuro-Pathway Training recently launched the “Helping Hands Need Healthy Brains” campaign to support the well-being of staff members in therapeutic schools and programs. The campaign allowed members of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) to nominate deserving individuals to receive the gift of a qEEG Brain Map and @home Neurofeedback sessions.

Supporting the emotional and behavioral challenges of students is a rewarding task but can take a toll on staff members. SYMMETRY Neuro-Pathway Training’s campaign prioritizes the mental health of these support staff and provides them with a tool to improve their brain health.

While there were several nominees, Karen Romani, formerly of Innercept, was the recipient of the highest number of nominations. Karen’s dedication and commitment to supporting students through their challenges made her a deserving recipient of the campaign’s gift.  After gratefully accepting the gift, Karen had her brain mapped, and she started supervised, remote Neurofeedback sessions through SYMMETRY Neuro-Pathway Training’s @home service. She is journaling about her experience, and SYMMETRY Neuro-Pathway Training is looking forward to sharing her journey.
