The ViewPoint Center Welcomes Brandon Burr, LCSW

ViewPoint Center, an assessment center and mental health hospital for adolescents of all genders ages 12-17, is thrilled to welcome Brandon Burr, LCSW to the clinical team. ViewPoint Center has a clinically sophisticated multidisciplinary team working to deliver a comprehensive assessment clarifying diagnosis and recommended treatment options.
Brandon brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. During his 25 years in the field, Brandon has worked in corrections facilities focusing on addiction work and has specialized for many years working with struggling youth in wilderness therapy and residential treatment programs.
Clinical Director Jordan Killpack comments, “We are excited to have Brandon Burr join our team at Viewpoint Center! He brings with him more than 2 decades of experience working with youth in a variety of settings. He has quickly become an integral and effective part of our team.” Assessment Director Dr. Jordan Rigby notes, “Brandon’s experience was obvious as soon as he joined our team. He has a clear understanding of the needs of the group and individuals he works with. We are so happy to welcome him.”
Brandon is a seasoned therapist, having worked with adolescents in a number of different settings. His specialties include trauma, family trauma, anxiety, ADHD, addictions, family systems, equine-assisted treatment, and PTSD. Brandon is also passionate about giving back to his community and continues to provide treatment services to law enforcement officers and their families when in crisis.

The ViewPoint Center is a comprehensive therapeutic assessment facility licensed as a specialty psychiatric hospital for adolescents of all genders ages 12-17. ViewPoint employs two tracks, to be used independently or in succession, to accommodate the individualized needs of each patient. The short-term stabilization track provides a safe and nurturing environment that helps to stabilize a patient psychiatrically and clinically so that they can return to a program/boarding school in a matter of 1-3 weeks.
