Alpine Academy is a non-profit RTC that serves adolescent girls between ages 12 and 18. Alpine's 35 acre campus is in a rural community just 30 minutes outside of Salt Lake City. Alpine believes in a synergistic approach to the healing process by integrating the efforts of the Clinical, Academic, and Residential teams in order to help each student develop the necessary skills to stop merely surviving life and to start truly living it. The framework is the Teaching-Family Model, recognized as evidence-based by several leading organizations. Trained and certified married couples live in and run our homes. Alpine Academy is proud to be the only NATSAP program accredited by the Teaching-Family Association and an approved sponsor site for the Teaching-Family Model. Alpine is an accredited school through AdvancEd and a certified non-public school for many states. Our goal is a traditional school setting with an innovative approach to meet the special academic needs of our students. NCLB highly-qualified teachers are in the front of every classroom performing direct instruction. A guidance counselor works to ensure each student is on track for graduation. Master’s level clinicians lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions weekly. Our clinicians are trained in a variety of modalities: -DBT -ACT -Mindfulness -EMDR -EAGALA -Sand-Tray -Music and Art Therapy (Contract) Our goal is to give them the tools they need to provide an individualized, hands-on approach for each client. Alpine implements a family-systems approach and aftercare is provided for all families.
