Mountain Valley Treatment Center Logo mountainvalleytreatment.org
Mountain Valley uses empirically supported treatment modalities for OCD & anxiety disorders. Our clinical services & experiential curriculum are specifically designed for treating those & related conditions. Our small therapist to resident ratio (1 to 4) allows each client to develop their own personal treatment plan including: * Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) * Therapeutic Recreation * Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) * Expressive Arts Therapy * Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) * Thematic Group Therapy * Family Therapy, Education, & Support We aspire to differentiate our treatment model through complementing traditional psychotherapy with the added benefits of outdoor education, stewardship, & recreational therapy. We aspire to use our inviting rural setting to: * Complement, challenge, & diversify the treatment of the anxiety disorders. * Help each resident diversify & strengthen their social, emotional, & physical health. * Emphasize the importance of collaborative & assertive pro-social behavior by supporting the needs of the house & its residents, the health of the community, & the sustainability of the environment. While the foundation of the Mountain Valley Treatment Center experience is the holistic, therapeutic approach to wellness, one could argue that the cornerstone of the program can be found in our small dormitories where residents reside during their stay with us. Living in either single or double rooms on a picturesque 25-acre property, Mountain Valley’s residents enjoy an atmosphere that has a familial rather than an institutional feel.
