Videogame addiction treatment usually occurs with other mental health conditions. reSTART provides a supportive, structured and safe home environment for youth (13-18) and adults (18-30) to live, learn and explore life, examine their relationship with digital media use (Internet, videogames, screens, and other devices) and better understand how their device use impacts mental and emotional health, and their overall well-being.
At reSTART we understand that digital use problems range from simple misuse to more complex levels of use such as Internet videogame addiction and dependence. Most of the young people we work with are also struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other issues which interferes with their ability to rise to their full potential at school, at home, and in their personal lives.
Teens and emerging young adults enrolled in reSTART live in a community designed to foster health and wellness and improve connection to what matters most - Life. Many are seeking video game addiction treatment, help with Internet gaming disorder, or to work on the impact excessive social media use is having in their lives. It's rare that a client comes in with only a tech problem, most individual have a co-occurring mental health condition like depression, anxiety, ADD, ASD, or PTSD.

Mission Statement
Healthy Use | Healthy families | Healthy Life
Our VISION: Balanced, moderated, and sustainable digital technology use for people and the planet.
Our GUIDING PRINCIPLE: We believe that ALL people are worthy of love, respect and belonging. Furthermore, we recognize that each of us, at the core, are unique one-of-a kind individuals—people are not a diagnosis, a set of labels, or a medical condition. They are not “addicts,” “broken-people,” or "failing to launch." They are human beings with unique values, beliefs, dreams, desires and goals in the process of ever-becoming, and reaching to meet their full potential.
Each reSTART community:
• Views genuine connection as the heart and soul of change
• Believes that trust is the foundation of a healthy life
• Is designed to foster growth, improvement and change
• Appreciates the uniqueness of each individual
• Views vulnerability as courage
• Encourages people to show up, be seen and live brave
• Believes people are doing the best they can
• Is strength based, caring, and resilient
• Works together in decision making to bring about change
• Fosters the common good in each other
• Engages in healthy open and honest communication
• Fosters an openness and appreciation for the differences in each other
• Embraces conflict, differences and change as a means of growth
