New Haven brings together traditional therapeutic modalities, with an added emphasis on healthy families, experiential therapies, academics, and service. New Haven is known internationally for working successfully with a wide range of complex emotional disorders including, but not limited to: -Anxiety -Depression -School Avoidance & Refusal -Drug & Alcohol Abuse -Technology Addictions -Suicidal Ideation & Self-Harm -Trauma & PTSD -Eating Disorders -Learning Disabilities -Personality Disorders -Reactive Attachment Disorder As a long-term residential treatment center, most of our students are with us for 10-12 months. New Haven is leading the therapeutic industry in our outcome data to demonstrate the effectiveness of our treatment. We approach each student as individuals, writing a master treatment plan that is built around her specific needs. New Haven specializes in family systems work so that long-term healing and support can be achieved. We require families to move through our Values Program together, and ask that families come spend time with their student at New Haven many times each year to do intensive therapy in-person.
