Ideally we each would have been able to speak on a personal level. Unfortunately, the number of people needing to be informed makes specific conversations unmanageable. It is with profound humility that I announce Vista Magna and Vista Sage will discontinue all services six weeks from today. Recently Vista was informed by several key staff that they no longer intend to work within adolescent residential programming. Given the current difficulty of recruiting new professionals and the essential nature of the resigning individuals, moving forward with services was made extraordinarily difficult if not impossible. Primary therapists you will need to contact your families and educational consultants today. Please begin the discharge planning process allowing for the six-week timeline. Note that if staffing becomes unavailable during that time, it may be that an earlier closure becomes necessary. Vista has served thousands of youth and their families over many years. We are grateful for the opportunity to have helped so many.
