Triple Divide Adds Three New Staff Members

It has been a busy summer so far at Triple Divide Lodge with three new members joining the team. Abbi Fetters, LCSW as clinical therapist, David DeBoer as wilderness instructor, and Nathan Wells as a recovery support specialist.
Abbi is a native Montanan with a master’s degree in social work. She has worked in outpatient and residential settings with young men from various socio-economical and cultural backgrounds and with their families. From her experiences, Abbi has seen how important relationships between family and their kids are, and the vital role they play in supporting recovery from any mental health and substance use disorders.
Originally from northern Minnesota, David grew up in the Midwest and has had a lifelong love of hiking, camping, snowboarding, and fishing. After a couple of years of college and traveling, David enlisted in the Marine Corps and became a Reconnaissance Marine, learning advanced land navigation skills, survival techniques, scouting, and many other disciplines. He has a heart for working with youth and helping them gain a love for the outdoors and passing on the lessons he has learned. David enjoys spending his free time exploring the wilderness of NW Montana and building a home with his wife.
Nathan Wells has an associate degree in welding technology and has spent the last 10 years working as a welder. Nathan was drawn to work at Triple Divide Lodge, as when he was a teenager, he wrestled with addictive tendencies and habits. During that season of Nathan’s life, he had mentors and people in his life who cared enough to speak the truth and encourage him on his journey. Nathan has been in recovery for 13+ years and has a desire to see young men succeed and make progress where he once struggled. Nathan enjoys mountain biking, hunting, and riding off-road motorcycles in his spare time. He also enjoys fellowship with his church family throughout the week.
These three are excited to bring their wide array of skills to the programming at Triple Divide Lodge. Each person brings with them years of unique experience that will help amplify the already innovative style on campus.
