Triple Divide Lodge, a unique residential treatment center for adolescent males, kicked off November with its first family program. The intention is to enhance the gains made by the client while bringing the family into their own healing process. This is done by including family members in sessions as well as giving them some language and strategies to more effectively communicate. They wrapped up the family program with both the clients and families participating in Challenge Course activities, experiencing the importance of clear communication, trust, and the power of listening. 

Incorporating family is an integral part of treatment at Triple Divide Lodge. After treating the individual, focusing on family involvement sets up the support structure to help avoid relapse and helps solidify progress made on site. Combined with treatment-focused therapy and a transition plan, this sets teens and their families up for the greatest success.

Triple Divide Lodge focuses on healing the mind, body, and spirit by combining residential and wilderness therapy treatment. This is very effective for people struggling with substance abuse disorders by incorporating adventure and wilderness to learn new skills as well as personal insights.

Triple Divide Lodge is a 90-day combination residential and wilderness therapy treatment program for adolescent males ages 14-19.  Young men enrolled in the program have a history of substance abuse disorder and possible co-occurring disorders. The model assists clients to overcome their substance use issues by getting outside of their comfort zones and experiencing the growth the wilderness inspires.
