Uinta Academy Celebrates Bridget Rhoten’s 18 Years of Dedication and Commitment

Uinta Academy is proud to honor Bridget Rhoten, LCSW, for her remarkable 18 years of service within the organization. Bridget’s journey at Uinta has been a testament to her unwavering dedication and passion for helping families and youth in need. Starting as a direct care staff member and working her way up to the position of Clinical Director, Bridget’s remarkable career trajectory exemplifies her deep commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
“I love working with our Uinta families,” says Bridget. “This is very complex work we do, and I believe the most powerful agent of change at Uinta is the horse.”
Bridget’s professional journey at Uinta Academy began in 2004 when she joined as a direct care staff and home manager. Her dedication and invaluable contributions led to her instrumental role in developing Uinta’s integrated Transition Home. After completing her master’s degree, Bridget took on the position of Program Director and Primary Therapist, ultimately becoming the Clinical Director of Uinta.
Bridget’s training empowers clients through a strengths-based approach, incorporating cognitive, behavioral, and existential therapies in individual, group, and family settings. Her extensive experience and consistent presence have undoubtedly contributed to the program’s effectiveness in addressing the relationship struggles that teenagers and families face.

Uinta Academy is a residential treatment center serving youth-assigned females at birth, ages 13-21, who struggle with attachment issues, mood disorders, maintaining interpersonal relationships, and/or healing after trauma.
