Upcoming NOLS Webinar on 10/26

Learn by doing at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
How do you learn by doing? NOLS uses experiential learning, which forms the backbone of its curriculum and is the framework of every expedition.
Why experiential learning? Because it’s powerful. Because the lessons are for life. And because proven research and experience support it. Since 1965, nearly 200,000 students have embarked on NOLS expeditions and graduated prepared to be leaders in their communities.
Leadership is central to a NOLS expedition. Students practice skills like decision-making and communication in a multitude of real-life settings and roles throughout the course. Through these leadership roles, students learn to act with confidence and competence, understand strengths and areas for growth, support their group, and graduate with lifelong skills.
NOLS is one of the industry’s largest and oldest Semester and Gap Year providers. Interim President Sandy Colhoun will host an information and Q&A session to better understand the school and its offerings.
