Kathy Marino brings 31 years of extensive experience working with clients and their families in the mental health field. Throughout her career, she has served in various roles in adolescent residential treatment settings. Kathy started her career as an intern at an adolescent residential program and, over 17 years, developed into roles that included Case Management, Therapist/Clinician, varying levels of Program Management, and Director of Admissions. She has her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and obtained her license as a Professional Counselor. For the last 12 years, she has served as Director of Admissions at an adolescent residential treatment center. Kathy’s background and expertise align seamlessly with Newcastle Educational Consultants' mission to provide clients with personalized, empathetic, and knowledgeable guidance.
As Clinical Intake Coordinator, Kathy will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating clinical aspects of the practice. This includes coordinating and completing clinical intake assessments, collaborating with mental health professionals, and assisting Rachel Gutow-Ellis, Principal and Owner, to help guide the families and clients served. By adding this key position to the team, Newcastle Educational Consultants aims to streamline services further and ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to addressing the diverse needs of clients and families.
