Founded in 1974 as a nonprofit, Crossroads for Women is in-network with Aetna, Martin's Point, Tufts, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, UnitedHealthcare, Community Health Options, Cigna, & Anthem.

For more than five decades, we have been Maine’s premier addiction and behavioral health treatment center, providing gender-responsive residential and outpatient (PHP), (IOP) programs that help clients recover from substance use, mental health, and eating disorders in a safe, supportive environment—offering varying levels of treatment from residential (10 beds located in Portland, ME) and partial hospitalization program (PHP) outpatient treatment (IOP) to Sober Living.

Crossroads for Women in Maine is a CARF-accredited treatment provider for co-occurring eating disorders, mental health, or addiction treatment, and provides formal and informal support options for family members while your loved one is in treatment.
