The Therapeutic Consulting Association (TCA) recently wrapped up its Annual Training event, held on March 18th and 19th at the Hotel June in beautiful West Los Angeles, California. With nearly 50% of TCA's membership in attendance, the event, themed "Our Place in the World," provided a platform for thought-provoking discussions around questions facing the therapeutic field, spurring creative roundtable discussions. The TCA Board presented updates on strategic plan initiatives, emphasizing ethics and best practices, underscoring TCA's commitment to professional excellence and growth. Following the two-day training, attendees could participate in enriching tours, exploring vibrant program offerings with different levels of care visited in the LA and Orange County area. The event's success was credited to the dedication of TCA’s Training Committee, comprised of Shannon DeVilbiss, Gail Curran, Meg Layhe, Jill Rickel, Shayna Abraham, and Jodi Liston.
Additionally, as part of the Annual Training, TCA proudly announced their new board, which has expanded to 10 members (9 TCA Members and 1 Program Representative) from 7 (6 TCA Members and 1 Program Representative) to align with the current momentum of the organization. The new board, comprising individuals with diverse expertise, is committed to advancing the profession through collaboration, ethical practices, and exceptional client care.
