CROSSROADS RESIDENTIAL ~ provides short-term treatment for teenage boys ages 14–18 in a safe, home-like environment for 75–90 days.

CROSSROADS ACADEMY ~ is a 9-month therapeutic school program for boys 14–18, designed for those who have experienced addiction and/or mental health challenges, often following a wilderness or short-term residential program. Located across three residential homes in Ogden, UT, Crossroads Academy primarily focuses on substance use treatment through adventure-based living and The Seven Challenges. The program is grounded in Relationship-Based Treatment, emphasizing the restoration and development of healthy relationships.

Addiction often affects family dynamics, legal involvement, and a teen’s ability to pursue education or employment. Common client diagnoses include:
- Substance Use Disorders
- Mood Disorders (e.g., Depression)
- Anxiety Disorders (e.g., Social Anxiety Disorder)
- ADHD / ADD
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
- Learning difficulties and school refusal
- Trauma
- Parent/child conflict (relationship disruption/bullying/interpersonal difficulties)

Crossroads has utilized a motivational enhancement approach (evidence-based), emphasizing client autonomy. Relational psychotherapy further supports teens by helping them build and maintain healthy relationships. Individualized treatment plans include daily individual, group, and family therapy, facilitated by a consistent team of therapists and staff.

Crossroads also prioritizes outdoor adventure as a therapeutic tool, helping clients cultivate passions and live in the moment. Activities include snowboarding, wakeboarding/surfing, rock climbing, skateboarding, backpacking, and hiking.
