The Dorm is a CARF-accredited young adult treatment community with locations in 🗽 New York City (UWS) and 🏛️ Washington, D.C. (Dupont Circle).

It serves young adults ages 18 to 30 who are working toward independent lives. Since 2009, The Dorm has offered partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programming. After an expert assessment, treatment plans can scale from 3 to more than 30 hours a week, so a young adult can step down in intensity without changing treatment teams. Care blends individual and group therapy, clinical skills coaching, psychiatric support, family programming, and a community clubhouse where clients practice real-life skills alongside peers.

The Dorm also offers supported living for clients who are ready to live in their own apartment. In New York State, The Dorm operates as a group practice.

The Washington, D.C. location is in-network with Aetna and Wellfleet, and The Dorm works with all other plans on an out-of-network basis.

The Dorm is a member of the Young Adult Transition Association (YATA).
